Ms. Suchita Vishnoi is an Independent Director on the Board of Sona Biscuits Ltd. She holds an MBA from the University of Lucknow and has completed executive education programs from MIT Sloan, Columbia Business School, Cornell University, ISB, and IIM Bangalore.
With over 15 years of professional experience in marketing, innovation, and business strategy, Ms. Vishnoi brings a unique blend of analytical and creative thinking to the Board. She has worked with leading global organizations such as Trend Micro, Salesforce.com India Pvt. Ltd., and Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt. Ltd., where she held senior positions in marketing leadership.
Ms. Vishnoi’s expertise spans digital transformation, brand positioning, and competitive strategy. She has a proven ability to integrate emerging technologies and data-driven insights into strategic marketing frameworks.
In addition to her corporate experience, she is the Co-founder and Director of GatewAI Integrated Services Pvt. Ltd., where she continues to contribute to the growth of technology-driven business solutions. Her strategic insight and innovative mindset support SOBISCO’s ongoing efforts to modernize brand engagement and consumer outreach.
Ms. Ishika is the Company Secretary of the Company. She holds a Master’s degree in Law from Calcutta University. Ms. Ishika began her professional journey by practicing at the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta, where she gained in-depth exposure to legal proceedings and litigation.
She has previously worked with Mamata Binani & Associates and ITC Limited, where she developed comprehensive expertise in corporate law, governance, and compliance management.
Her dual background in law and corporate compliance enables her to effectively integrate governance principles into operational frameworks, giving her a distinctive edge in managing the Company’s statutory obligations. With her thorough understanding of compliance frameworks and hands-on experience, Ms. Ishika plays a vital role in ensuring that the Company adheres to the highest standards of governance and corporate discipline.
Ms. Ishika’s structured approach, attention to detail, and strong understanding of legal and regulatory landscapes contribute significantly to maintaining SOBISCO’s reputation for ethical business conduct and transparent corporate governance.
Mr. Abhishek Daruka is the Chief Financial Officer of the Company. He is a Chartered Accountant and is a results-driven and strategic financial leader with over 10 years of experience in financial planning, risk management, and cost control, complemented by his expertise in strategic decision-making.
He has a proven track record of driving sustainable growth, enhancing financial performance, and ensuring fiscal discipline across dynamic business environments. As CFO, Mr. Daruka oversees all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, capital structuring, and compliance.
He excels at aligning financial strategy with corporate objectives, building strong stakeholder relationships, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. His core competencies include strategic financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting and compliance, cost optimization, risk management, fundraising, ERP implementation, and leadership development.

Mr. Mahesh Kumar Agarwal serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Sona Biscuits Ltd. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cleveland State University and has over 35 years of experience in the biscuit and FMCG industry. Prior to his current role, Mr. Agarwal served as the Whole-time Director of the Company.
As CEO, he is responsible for leading marketing operations, brand management, and product strategy. Under his leadership, the Company has strengthened its marketing framework and expanded its consumer reach through a series of focused brand initiatives and category innovations.
Mr. Agarwal’s deep understanding of market dynamics and evolving consumer behavior has played a crucial role in enhancing SOBISCO’s brand positioning and portfolio diversification. Mr. Lalit Kishore Harlalka is an Independent Director of Sona Biscuits Ltd. and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. He brings with him wide experience in corporate governance, business management, and financial oversight, which has been invaluable to the Board.
Mr. Harlalka’s role involves providing independent judgment and balanced perspectives on key strategic and operational matters. Mrs. Shashi Sharma serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Sona Biscuits Ltd. She is a Chartered Accountant and a Commerce graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, with additional certifications as a Certified Treasury Manager from ICFAI and executive education from the London Business School.
She has held distinguished leadership positions, including as Managing Director of Tourism Finance Corporation of India Ltd. and Executive Director at IFCI Limited, where she was also Chief Treasury and Investment Officer.
With extensive experience spanning several decades in finance, investment, and risk management, Mrs. Sharma brings deep insight into corporate finance, governance, and compliance frameworks. Her presence on the Board adds strong strategic oversight in matters related to fiscal prudence, capital structure, and long-term planning.
