While the Food Security Act is helping to make food more widely available and has improved the hunger index in the country, this initiative helps address nutritional well-being amongst children, adolescents, young mothers and households in general. The collaboration also taking the necessary steps to make nutrition an affordable experience even for the lower income groups, belonging especially in the two and three-tier towns of Eastern India.
